In one session, how long do you think you could game for?

For money? I would sit there as long as I needed to win. Though I couldn't tell you the longest I have gamed for in one session I have had plenty that have entered the late teens and the 20's.

Depending on the game, I guess I could go for 8 hours? Six?

In practice I get an hour or two in every few days, on a good week. Don't really have time for games.

I'd assume my longest sessions are usually less than six hours, but I do 3-hour sessions pretty regularly, ever since I got back into Fallout 3, Team Fortress 2 and Minecraft.

But in a competition, given the right game (or, even better, the chance to change games at will, since my attention span isn't that impressive), I could probably go for 15-20 hours, with food/water/pee/heroin breaks.

I don't know how long I could play without sleeping, but my record is probably somewhere between 5-8 hours. That doesn't happen often though. I would be very sad if I did catch myself playing 8 hours a day.

I think my record is around 10-20 hrs. I am not sure, and I don't even remember the game. Pretty sure it was Castlevania: Curse of Darkness, although it could have been any game, or multiple games.

I think I could game over a day, like 24-30 hrs. That would be pushing it, and I would not want to do that anyway. It does not sound like fun.

i've spent 12 hours straight playing horde mode on insanity in Gears 2, we only died once. and we beat the horde about 5 times.

But yeah, 36 hours without sleep. I could do more for money.

On topic: I can usually go a whole day before I gotta go to bed, but I usually do 4-6 hours a day so that I can do other crap the day as well.

I can't now (having to pay rent and all), but back in the day i could easily spend all day playing Morrowind, so i think about 12 hours.

When MW2 came out me and my friends spent about 33 hours straight (toilet and food while waiting in a lobby)

after that I wanted to smash my head into a wall...

18 hours. After that point there's splitting pain in my eyes so long as they're open, and frankly, no game is worth that kind of pain.

My record is 70 hours of Star Wars Battlefront II vs each other playing the mode where you have to conquer all the planets (its late and I can't remember the name of it for the life of me). Maybe 1 hour in that was used for bathroom breaks and food. It was beyond ridiculous. We ended up sleeping for literally 24 hours afterwards. Best weekend ever, but never doing that again. I couldn't look at a TV or a computer screen for at least a couple days after that...

If I tried, I could probably game for about 12-16 hours straight without too much issue (except maybe hunger). The longest I've gamed for is about 8 hours.

I used to pull 16 hour sessions of WOW on top of 12 hour shifts at work. Ya, I know there's some overlap there, I played at work too. I think I could go 3 days straight, probably more given enough Mtn Dew and tacos. Don't really want to put that to the test though...

I literally cannot go for more than three, four hours before I have to turn it off and have a cigarette. I used to be able to play all day, but I work full time in between college semesters, so I rarely have the energy to do that anymore. I'll play for a few hours then go outside, check the forums I like to read, download some music, whatever.

I do remember playing Dragonball Z: Budokai 3 for about sixteen hours with my friends once in high school, though.

Probably around 15 hours, and even then I had to get up quite a few times. I can't sit still for really long periods of time without freaking out.

If not, then I could probably make it for about 24 hours before the dark, cold hands of sleep would take me.
