I just had a read through the comic, and it really aint too bad.

The storyline/setting, etc is accessible enough for children, but it also gives proper information about malware, virus', and other such nasties on the internet.

A good blend of proper information packed into a fun comic story, if you ask me :)

If I had read a comic like this at that age I would have started torrenting years sooner. The only reason I did not was because I didn't know about the benefits of P2P networks when downloading large files, like ubuntu ISOs.

Hahah, disinfect the internet.

As a disciple of internet infection, I say NAY!

Also, simply carpet bombing the schools with explosives instead of shitty comics might be a better way to stop kids from pirating shit. Am I right or am I right?

All the scare tactics the government tried to pull on me on a kid were usually hilarious. Every stoner I know could quote anti-smoking commericals for hilarity. I doubt anything like this has actually worked before.

Dumbest thing I've ever heard, why would this stop kids from downloading things for free?

If anything, this will make them aware that they CAN download for free.

This could be a good idea if two things where to be changed:
1- serious fines and juridic actions to adults who consent, perform, and/or gain money out of the download of illegal content.

2- less of that bullshit government approved content on the information to children.

I tell you, much of the content that is pirated ends up on the hands of adults who don't know how to do it themselves so they buy it or asks their children to do it, being that kids have more knowledge of how internet works and are more capable at doing it.

I have seriously lost count on how many times i've had to try 'n' explain how to pirate things to adults (even the "young" ones, that use internet for email, facebook, youtube and things like that), most of them don't ever get it, the ones that do end up downloading something don't really understand how they have done it.

If children are informed of the damage this causes and see adults having to pay for what everybody say it's illegal, things will start to change.

But with entire country's running variable ip's and the existance of p2p data sharing systems i just don't see that happening. You righteous people will have to continue to ***** and moan at rooms full of the same righteous people like you, while the rest of the world just don't cares...

The head of the good guys in this comic looks like Judge Dredd. He feels so sinister and oppressive. Are we really supposed to be rooting for this guy?

Wow, the writers really went crazy with the ellipsis there didn't they?

You know, while I love ellipsis for dramatic pause...

... you can't use it at the end of every sentence!!!

Especially if the next half of the sentence that follows it has nothing to do with the previous half. Here's a line of Narration and how it's written in the comic: "But what Ben and Jeremy Didn't Know- is that they are being watched... ... someone or something that has a dark agenda... ... and from far away it watches. Quietly, patiently waiting until NOW." Now I'm going to assume nothing was omitted, per the actual use of ellipsis, so I'm assuming it's meant for pause. which would mean the sentence would actually read like: "But what Ben and Jeremy Didn't Know- is that they are being watched someone or something that has a dark agenda and from far away it watches. Quietly, patiently waiting until NOW."

It certainly doesn't feel like they're all one sentence, so why with all the ellipsis?!

But really, anyone notice it's not the Torrent that has the virus it's a GIANT ALIEN ROBOT EYE FROM SPACE?!

Apparently, Torrent sites are run by Space Pirates. I don't think not torrenting is going to stop them.

So let me get this straight, he downloaded something from P2P, didn't wait for 5,000 other people to download it, didn't look at the comments on the download, and then was suprised when he got stung? GJ kid, GJ.

When I pirate I read the comments so this comic doesn't apply to me.

Little boys mind " WOW I can just download things for free on the internet thanks for teaching me that comic! and now I know..."

( Insert G.I. Joe )

So... if we download stuff off the internet we get to fight alongside anti-virus software soldiers killing the personification of malware?

Be right back, I need to find a torrent site.

This campaign probably won't end well.
It will probably increase piracy with the promise of meeting a Norton Anti-Virus Knight.;

Bit of an odd method if I'm honest.
