So... I just learned that Spielberg and Lucas have agreed on a script for Indy 5. Initially I ask why? Only to answer myself with because it makes money. I wonder why people would see the movie after watching the kick to the balls that was Kingdom of the Crystal Skull? Your thoughts.

Maybe, just maybe, somewhere in the Lucas/Spielberg hive-mind there's a good story waiting to come leaking out. After the (mostly)travesty that was the prequels and Indy 4, they might come to their senses and eke out something decent? Not holding my breath, but pleading to Lucas to not make another crappy flick.

Indy 4 was horrible, not just the special effects, the alien story line, Shia Leboufe's (spelling?) character being written horribly. All bad, I hope they don't do Indy 5, Spielberg doesn't care about you! He just wants your Money! He is letting quality slip and your still giving him your money!

You are not alone, I also found Indy 4 quite entertaining, sure there were a lot of silly parts, but it was a likeable film overall.

As for Indy 5, I guess as long as it will be good, I don't mind.

To be honest, I did not think Indy 4 was that bad. I mean, I have a much easier time believing in aliens than some biblical artifacts (oops, that's the atheist in me talking).
