Failed to signal? That's either a police officer far from making quota this month or cop talk for "I knew something was up and I needed an excuse to pull him over."

Ok, so this doesn't really belong on this site. REALLY wish sites like TE would stop reporting on inane stuff like this. This does not inform me about any video games, or movies, or even something reasonably associated with video games or movies.

OT: Laziness. There are smugglers who build makeshift submarines to smuggle drugs past the patrols, and this guy can't even put the extra effort to disguise the last brick? Something, something, back in my day, something, something walked 5 miles in a snowstorm to get to school.

Idiots.

I smuggle my cocaine in larger bags of pot, they'll never suspect a thing. hehehehe.
You sir, are brilliant. How has no one else thought of this?

OT: So he went to all that trouble to gut a 360 (or buy a gutted 360) to hide Cocaine, and then hiding the rest of it in an obvious brown package? That's like making a smoothie, working really hard to get the perfect balance of fruit and everything else, and then urinating in it. It simply makes no sense.
"Inept" is an overstatement.

I think (keyword: "I'm ill-informed and really have no place making this commentary" "think") that the punishment is steep because they are really trying to be extra hard on drug-trafficking in Texas due to the overall situation around the border. Drug-trafficking goes behind drug-trafficking. It's a very bloody business.
Drugception?

He could have fit all three inside the original Xbox, plus two more in one of the controllers.

I've done worse to my Xbox.

And seriously, what an anal cop. Pulling over a guy for not putting on his turn signal? He must have been bored out of his mind.

Willin to be cop talk. Unless its a local county law, I don't think I've ever heard of an actual law that states you have to signal before a turn and if there is it almost never is enforced. Also given the way traffic court judges are, if a cop bothered them with somethin ridiculous as not signalin a turn they'd throw the case out and tell them not to waste their time.

Funny story about that. Once had a judge do that when someone was ticketed for drivin 2 mph over the speed limit. Judge looked at the cop and literally said "Don't ever waste my time with something as pointless as this ever again." Then he dismissed the case.

So yeah. Chances are the cop either knew beforehand because of an informant what was up or he noticed somethin funny about the situation and needed a legal reason to pull him over.

Well it's obvious why he kept the other bit of coke outside of the Xbox. He didn't want it to get bricked.

Ba dum tish.

Oh also, Yahtzee's "Haze" review is in the related articles. That made me giggle.

What an idiot why didn't he just ditch the cop and get a bribe between the alleys and boxes? Wait that's GTA3.

Anyway, people still actively use UPS to move drugs from what I heard so, still not the craziest thing I've heard.

OT: Honestly though, thats just sloppy, most mules hid all their drugs together, I think this was his first ride,
Yeah, if you're nervous like that, he has to be new. I thought it would be common sense not to keep glancing at your hiding place.

That's quite a large gap. They could narrow it down maybe a fraction.

Any who, slightly on topic, I love his name. Carols Valenuela is brilliant.

Am I the only one who saw the typo the first time his name was mentioned?
"Carols" instead of "Carlos"...

No-one forced you to read this article, it's very clearly labelled what it's about.

OT: That's pretty stupid, 15 years sounds kinda harsh but then I guess if he's a smuggler then it's fair.

My Day one purchased still working 360 wanted you to know. So you wouldn't continue to have it unheard of.

OT: This is why kids you don't smuggle drugs. Unless you know to obey road signals and keep cool when the police pull you over.
