If even 25% of what was in the Kotaku article is true, this is going to be the worst Call of Duty game yet, but it will still be more popular than sex and breathing combined.

So, my guess is, they noticed it got leaked, and said, "Shit guys, get someone to tell them "no, it's not all true" and we can add something, like, another protagonist death."

I think it was all accurate, but they want us to buy it anyways.

wait, Infini-what?
ohh you mean Respawn?

and wait Modern Warfare 3 isn't gonna be published under EA?
nooo wayyy
Infinity Ward didn't become Respawn, just the members who were let go of. Infinity Ward itself is still a team and Activision still owns it as well as the rights to MW3. Respawn could in no way make an MW game. Ever.
yeah I know it's not the entire team, just the leaders and those who felt fit to leave. still I can't say I'll be rooting for MW3 without Infinity Ward as it was, but I'm also not exactly rooting for Activision in any way. regardless, I don't get too worked up over Call of Duty.

and geez I seem to be offending everyone without meaning too. thanks for not like yelling at me and calling me ignorant haha

Fascinating. The new CoD will apparently have even less to do with fish than the last. Shame.

Why in the hell was Hankman banned for that post?
Mods don't really like posts that are just pictures, as they don't contribute much towards the article or the discussion thereof. But I feel you--I was sad too.

I'm not holding my breath till I see gameplay. Up until then, I'm excited to see a conclusion to the Modern Warfare trilogy. I just hope that IWard is going to address the criticism that MW2 got for being unbalanced and buggy. Color me super-stoked if Spec-Ops returns.

Just suspended, and because posting only images is frowned upon because it's low content.

Call of Cash-in: 8

That would be clever if you hadn't just swapped in a word that sounds completely different. In order for your derogatory nick name to work, you have to substitute in a word that sounds similar, the less change the better. Examples: Call of Dooty, Modem Warfare 2, that sort of thing. Yours wasn't clever at all. Call of Game I don't like for various reasons including it's annual release pattern annoying fanbase and frustrating multiplayer is about as clever as yours, and it's more inclusive.

What's there to spoil? You'll shoot lots of dudes, experience a setpiece and get killed in a cutscene. Cue a new locale and take it from the top.
Unless *sniggers* they are actually trying to change the COD franchise and push it up a notch...

*Looks out of window*

Oooh look, a flying pig xD

Seriously though, for some reason i have a good feeling about this COD, lets hope it isn't the same game with a new skin.

Oh, come now. As unbalanced as MW2 was, at least it was fun. Again, we haven't really seen gameplay from MW3, so who knows what they might pull off? If your assumptions are right, then we'll happily join you on the "Fuck CoD" Bandwagon.

Well, those got patched, if I'm not mistaken, but that still leaves the noob-tubing and boosters, both of those that Black Ops and MW2 helped to address to some extent. More so boosters.

I'm really hoping the hype doesn't take hold of me this time. I swear that's 90% of the reason I've been getting these damn things. I'd hate to have another Black O...I'm sorry, what gun was that? They did what with the bullets? Explosions you say?
Exactly the reason I buy them... XD

But... I liked the baby picture. It was the most interesting thing in this thread. Gah, sometimes the mods in this community do the darndest things. I hope you unsuspend whoever put it up, cause something that makes my evening that much happier shouldn't be shunned.
