Saw it tonight, wasnt impressed, after all the hype and the trailers showing all action and screaming, I really wasnt expecting a 2 solid hour concrete block of dialogue with very little going on. Personally, the film would have been better if it was broken up more in places with actual goings on, other than words.

Yes, ok, they were there to do one thing, kill Nazi's, I just wish that they used more bullets and less pronouns to do so.

Good god. I never thought there would be so many people who would ***** and complain because a movie "had too much dialogue." What the hell has happened to people that they can't focus on something unless there's an explosion every 10 minutes to remind them of the giant screen they're supposed to be watching. It's not like the movie was boring. You want to see a slasher flick? Go see Halloween. Tarantino doesn't just make murder scenes, staple them together, and call it a movie. He writes plots.

Don't like it? Keep shoveling your money at Michael Bay. I'm sure he's happy to oblige.

I want to see it just for the quote "We in the killin' Nazi bus'ness."

I had the same with with Gran Torino. "Get off my laaawn..."

All joking aside I want to see the movie because it looks fairly humorous and I'm quite interested in WW2.
1. That quote gets even better in the movie. (There's another line to it.)
2. When you say you're in to WW2, I hope you mean that on just a subject level, not a factual level. This movie is in no way based on reality short of the setting and the Nazis.

Looks good, I'll wait for it to come out on blue-ray seeing as I just went to see "The Goods", which was a BA movie, but I'm a tad bit concerned for what the unrated version is going to be.

I heard that there was too much talking and barely any action. Could you give me your opinion on that please?
What? The talking is often better I think. The end of Kill Bill (part 2), most of From Dusk till Dawn, Pulp Fiction. The action and stuff is cool, but the talking stuff is awesome.

To the want more action people, the best part of his movies are the talking parts, so go watch something else.
To the historical accuracy people, watch the History Channel instead?

Pretty much, I'd enjoy both "levels" of WW2'age. Except for video games, which I'm starting to get bored with the WW2 theme.
