After playing Halo 1 and 2 all the way through kept pressing X to reload in Halo 3 and Reach(recon control layout). It got annoying.

I made the same mistake regarding the aggression-drawing-distraction-team aptitude of Grunt, and then again with Jack.scorptatious said:Mass Effect 2 during the suicide mission. I had Grunt lead the second fire team because Shepard and the others needed a distraction. This brought me back to my days in WOW and made me think that Grunt would be the perfect tank.
Unfortunately, he wasn't. As he died after that part in the mission.

I've had a similar experience in Deus Ex: Human Revolution. For some reason I keep thinking that R2 will make me sprint. It throws secondary weapons like grenades. Oops. And honestly, I don't know why I keep trying to sprint with R2.
