It proves that millions of people don't know the difference between "weight" and "mass".

THEY ARE NOT THE FUCKING SAME!! RRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE!!!

*phew* All good now.
i used to know the exact definitions of each, but it has bees three years since i have taken a science related class, i still have a general idea, i just cant put hose thoughts to paper
The way I remember it is that weight is the measurement of the force of gravitational pull on an object while mass is the measurement of the amount of matter in an object. Thus, weight is dependent on where an object is relative to something with gravitational pull (such as the earth or the moon), but mass is a property of the object. E.g: You would weigh less on the moon but still have the same mass.
yeah that sounds about right, being a sound freak i probibly have alot of physics ahead of me, but im mainly staying in the music dept for now

it shows that there are 42 million overweight people that look for answers on google.

out of those 42 million 17 million can spell

and 25 million cant spell

based on that data i can accurately determine that 40% of overweight people can spell, while 59% of them cannot.

The internet is the embodiment of laziness. Of course when one becomes both obese and internet dependent, they'll have a few grammar problems.

"How to Lose weight" has 17 million hits

"How to Loose weight" has 25 million hits

Does this prove that nobody on the internet can spell? Or is this a Google thing, where they suggest misspelled words and then get a kick out of correcting you in the following screen?
I give it a year before some overpaid quack scientist uses that information as the fundamental princple in his article 'Obesity causes illeteracy'.

EDIT given that spelling mistoke he might have something :D Actually Im typing on an EEE pc while balancing hot tea on an uncomfortable bench. Thats my excuse & Im sticking to it (& the bench):D
too late, i already did that 2 posts before u even posted this.

so there are more people who want weights to fall from the ceiling by loosening them, than there are those who want to lose weights, maybe more people want to keep their scales

Ummm... You guys do realize you're in agreement, right?
Well I thought it was pretty obvious, but I was just being an ass about the wording of saying "Fat weighs less." because sometimes it's fun to be that guy and do it.
