What is the most random and fun easter egg you have found in a game?

For me it is this...

While playing Fallout 3 I stubled across a computer in the museum of technology that had I note from a guy that was comprised of lyrics by industrial band Fear Factory, and the fictional scientist's name was B.Bell.. the name of the singer in said band.

Obviously this is only really exciting to people who are fans of the band but I thought it was really cool.

I always enjoyed it how rare would slip things into games which made references to their old ones... except now I'm struggling to think of one. Finding copies of 'Grabbed by the Ghoulies' in bins (because it was so awful) in Nuts and Bolts was a good one, or the Bafta in Perfect Dark, or Cranky Kong in the Donkey Kong 64 instruction manual opening up the musical instruments section with 'hey this was robbed from zelda!'. Don't know if they count as easter eggs per se as they're easy to find but you get the idea I'm trying to make

Oh I also forgot the overseer in the music themed Vault 92 was called Rick Rubin.

For those who don't know, Rick Rubin is a producer who has done albums with Johnny Cash, Public Enemy, Slayer, Metallica, Chilli Peppers, System of a Down, Linkin Park and lots more...

Still on Fallout, 1 or 2 had the Tardis in it, provided you were lucky.

GTA:Vice city had the Easter egg, an actual Easter Egg.

Halo: CE has the declaration of love on Pillar of Autumn.

The Bafta in the safe in Perfect Dark is my favourite (already mentioned above).

In Blood, you would find a cave full of a mimes that surrounded a hanged Duke Nukem. You could poke him with a pitchfork and the pc would say "shake it baby"

That post above jogged my memory a bit. In Duke Nukem 3D if you pressed spacebar on an arcade game of Duke Nukem 2 you would hear him say 'Hmm, Don't have time to play with myself'

Another is a Doom 2 secret level which is set in castle Wolfenstein and at the end of it you see 4 commander keens which have been hung (and can be blown to bits complete with the commander keen death sound).

Also in perfect dark, rare hid a piece of cheese on every level. Who knows why

In Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter, on the mountain level, you can fly past one of the vents in the side of the mountain and see two droids building a snowman. Note that the vents are meant to emit flames and hot air from the factory inside the mountain...

I like the "Who wants toast?" easter egg from Gears of War 2 because it's just completely unexpected.
I also liked the Lost references in Half Life 2: Episode 2.

In Lego Star wars you can make a disco out of bricks. A techno version of the star wars theme starts playing and everyone starts danceing. Made me lol so much

In a really bad N64 game called Tonic Trouble, there were popcorn machines scattered around certain levels as a powerup. If you zoom in as close as you can at just the right angle, you can see the "Newman's Own" logo on them.

There are no easter eggs here. Go away.
I remember that one San Andreas right?
Fallout 2 had a few the Cafe of Broken Dreams where you could get Dog-meat was nice as were their two refrences to Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
I liked Vice City's Easter Egg Easter Egg even though it was very difficult to find.
GTA always has the best Easter Eggs. VC had the Easter Egg Easter Egg but also had the room from Scarface complete with chainsaw. GTA4 had some good ones like the Freedom Heart but San Andreas is the all time king of easter eggs: lemmings, body bags, references to earlier GTAs and other games; the SA EEgg list is a long one.

Always loved these threads, You learn so many cool things.

My favorite has to be when Psycho Mantis reads your memory card in MGS and knows if you played any Konami games, at first I had no idea how he was doing that.

Half Life 2 in order:
The interrogation room marked "Room 101" [1984]
- bobble-Hula Dancer in Kleiner's Lab.
-Coughing Vortigaunt
-The head of the Incinerator NPC in Eli's Lab
-The Rebel that Committed Suicide behind the Propane Tanks in Highway 17, near the Gas Station

And Episode 2, the Hidden room relating to LOST, I couldn't appreciate because I've never watched much of LOST.
