Well, I knew they were trying to get this done forever, and now that they have, I guess it takes away the lame excuse of "oops I didn't know it would take me there"

..Smoothest part of that entire article. Props for you, John. Props for you.John Funk said:So does this mean if I wanted to make a Vin Diesel porn site, I could register the domain xxx.xxx?
Well, yeah, but considering the ratio of porn to anything else in terms of # of pages, you've got better chances getting a porn page randomly than losing at russian roulette.OctalLord said:Johnnyallstar said:Well, I knew they were trying to get this done forever, and now that they have, I guess it takes away the lame excuse of "oops I didn't know it would take me there"
Unless you use the random website button.
By that logic you should also be questioning what the Twilight star 'potentially' being related to Vlad the Impaler, or the creation of a bionic cat have to do with the site's core premise. It's just news about something cool/weird/unusual/related in some way to the internet/etc.HK_01 said:I think I've made a comment like this before, but I'm not sure so I'll make it again.
This is a videogame site, a site for gamers, what does porn have to with that?!?
I guess that makes sense. It's just that there seems to be at least one news post about porn each day, which is kind of weird.Gildan Bladeborn said:By that logic you should also be questioning what the Twilight star 'potentially' being related to Vlad the Impaler, or the creation of a bionic cat have to do with the site's core premise. It also gives parental access-blocking programs a nice "catch-all" blanket to make it harder for little Timmy to get a look at internet ta-tas.
The Escapist has never been JUST a videogame site. If it were just a videogame site, we wouldn't have an columns [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/editorials/reviews/anime].HK_01 said:I think I've made a comment like this before, but I'm not sure so I'll make it again.

Edit: Since when does Sony have the rights to "The Internet is for Porn"? Because it says that the video is not available in my country because of that.
It's just for people who want to use it because they're feeling nice. Just like .com is only for commercial companies and .net for ISPs and .org for nonprofits and no one has ever violated those suggestions and I have a nice bridge to sell you if you believe that.Deiphagia said:So are all pron sites being renamed to www.pornsitename.xxx or are the staying the same and then new sites are getting the .xxx?
