just a quick question.

i used to use only IE7 and found it crashed LOADS and zapped a huge chunk of memory. then i switched to safari due to its load speed been considerably better and more user friendly. still it took a huge block of memory when i started to do things such as watch a video. finally now im using Googles' chrome, its fast, user friendly, doesn't take much memory (even when i put it through its pases)


so i just want to know, what do you guys use and why? should i give something else a try?

I use Mozilla Firefox. Google Chrome is nice, but I like the layout of Firefox too much to give it up for something new.

Anyone who uses anything other than those two things can suck it.

Firefox! I find it to be the fastest browser with the lightest footprint in your RAM. I used to use Opera on occasion, but I never found the speed dial to be all that efficient.

Lies! What version of IE?

I have no idea - I'm not particularly interested in Internet browsers - as long as its fast and reliable thats all I care about. I found that, with Firefox, pages would be displayed two or three seconds slower than IE - and that became annoying very quickly - so I switched back.

Firefox, because its awesome. I havent tried Chrome yet, but I really can't be bothered learning how to use another browser, especially with all my custom settings to re add.

Safari is a bag of wank, just like most Apple software.

Both of my laptops use Firefox (one using 2.2 because I can't figure out how to get the updates to take), and I have the Wii browser (which is Opera-powered)
