Yeah... i'm not a fan of total biscuit to be honest :/ and i have found in the past if i make comments that disagree with him or perhaps slightly belittle what he has said. The fan boy army decends on me >_> so i refrain from such things now not worth the hastle.

If it's any consolation he hates his fans even more, I've seen fans descend to defend him for telling other fans that he doesn't give a shit who they are or what they want from him.

Essentially it's when a group agrees to a point of view in lieu of discussing alternatives to keep the peace.

This one finnish forum I was in couple of years ago (Well it was RUNESCAPE community so what can you expect) had serious issues with this... I got hate thrown on me when I didn't like this one guys AVATAR -__-

Also another thing that is kinda like this but might be a different thing all together: I've noticed that females in forums get their own personal army too. If you have a female there then NO ONE better disagree with her. Horny fanboys will come down your chimney if you dare to do that... I quess that would be called internet vagina?

Females on this forum aren't disagreed with?! Have you met Lilithslave?

From what I've seen there's a couple people who do it, but more often than not it's with people agreeing with their points. Whether or not they're doing it because they're horny, chimney descending fanboys I can't say, but I doubt that it's the case most of the time.

Fortunately I haven't witnessed too much of that on the internet. I've noticed that this forum does have some favored members, but I don't spend that much time here so for all I know there's good reasons for that.

Haha well this problem I've mainly noticed in anime forums (Arlong Park was pretty bad in this...). Again I got this advice: "Remember that these users are girls so be careful what you say to them". I haven't seen this (yet) in Escapist because I have no idea who's male and who's female and that's way I like it [small]aha aha[/small]. Wouldn't make difference anyway.
