Seriously. Cut down bullies at their source.dastardly said:Those first grade boys and their parents need to be ethnic-cleansed, and we need more Katies out there.
Woe be unto those who believe we're all "basically good." It does a disservice to people like this who try hard and go out of their ways to be good to each other, in a world full of "jackass little first graders" of all ages.
Welcome to Escapist magazine!Blue Ranger said:Oh shut the hell up! Stop acting like you girls are somehow pefect little angels. There are female bullies out there too, so you girls are idiots as well.Radelaide said:Ack! She's so adorable! Man, boys are stupid! They're probably just jealous that she could kick their butts in a lightsabre battle!
It's funny how a few dumbasses in this thread just like to blame boys for being "little pricks" when many girls do some worse things.
Yeah, it's nice that this was resolved in a mature manner instead of people going out there trying to "get revenge" on a bunch of six year olds.
I am well aware that there are girl bullies, but alas, they were the first grade boys who were teasing her about her water bottle. And who are you to talk about being mature when your first post on this forum is attacking me? Lemme make myself clear: That's not acceptable behaviour on these forums.Last week, Katie came home and asked her mother for a different water bottle. Mom sensed something wasn't right, and pressed the issue. That's when Katie began to cry, saying "The first grade boys are teasing me at lunch because I have a Star Wars water bottle. They say it's only for boys. Every day they make fun of me for drinking out of it. I want them to stop, so I'll just bring a pink water bottle."
You're obviously trying very hard to find something negative in this. Good luck with that.Summerstorm said:Hm... i don't understand...
What did the internet do... other than justhaving lots of people saying: Meh... do what you want to do?
I mean, yeah reinforcing someone who did nothing from, and helping him feeling better is nice and all, but how exactly did the 'net save her?
I was expecting something different. This doesn't really seem that "strong" to me.
