So you've been drinking it?

Shit, where's the antidote?
Damn, why did no one tell me this when I signed up?

Aaah, found it!
[Inserts needle into arm]

Well, you joined after the infection, so we just assumed you saw the noticeboard.
Oh, well, my bad. May I know what's in the water, then?

Mind-control serum and pixie dust.

And sunflower oil, for some arbitrary reason.

Indeed. I've tried shifting the Escapist-to-university ratio in favor of my studies, but to no avail... and exams are just around the corner. Aaaaaaaahhhhh...! DX

Oh, sunflower oil is bad. I can see why you don't want people drinking the water.

THX to everyone so far (and in advance to everybody who will join the thread as time went on) for the warm welcome! I already like this place.

Just to answer some of the questions asked:

-Yes, I really do enjoy bread. (Funny fact: What you would call "bread" in english, we Germans call "toast". When we speak of bread though, we mean that (darker) kind of bread, which is afaik pretty hard to find in the US, Canada, Australia, GB and most of southern Europe - Sorry, I already doubt that anyone cares).

-Despite my Av I'm male, sry folks. The female name-equivalent would probably be "Carmen".

-Yep, I read all the rules. English is my third language though, so please don't mind bad grammar or wrong expressions from time to time. I'll do my best!

-My Movie List: These films were the first that came to my mind when I thought about it. It's very subjectively, since I just picked those, I really enjoyed watching, without measuring them based on typical movie criteria. Thats also how RE:3 got there. When I first watched it, I did not like the 1st one at all, since I basicly expected a movie of the 1st game, I kind of enjoyed the 2nd part and I really liked the 3rd. Since then I somehow enjoy them all, because somehow they managed to make it a good story mostly aside from the game series.

-You really wanna see my rib cage? ^^

I am Jamienra, and I am here to ask you a question. Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow? "No" Says the man at Ebay, "it belongs to the poor". "No" says the Man at religioustolerance.org, "it belongs to God". "No" says the man at Youtube, "it belongs to everyone". I rejected those answers. Instead; I chose something different. I chose the Impossible. I chose. The Escapist. With a forum where the opinionated would not fear the censor (within reason), where the Moderators would not be bound by petty morality, where the Gone Gonzo would not be constrained by the troll. And with the ache of your fingers (and perhaps a new keyboard), The Escapist can be yours as well...

I am suprised this wasn't done earlier

EDIT: Also welcome. You should have a good time here. I also love V for Vendetta and i really like the Resident Evil film series. [small]They aren't so bad if you watched them before playing the games[/small]

The second language I learned was actually Latin (in school of course, startet in the 5th grade, got my "Latinum" after 10th grade with a "B"). I was taught English not until 7th grade, but the most of it I taught myself through stays abroad in London, Austin TX, and Toronto, plus watching movies in English and reading booklets of Audio CDs.

Right now I'm reading a funny book that had big succsess in Germany, by Wladimir Kaminer, a Russian who came here in the early 90s. It's called "Russendisko". It's hilarious. I really enjoy his (Russian?) kind of humor.

Welcome. Welcome to The Escapist.

You have chosen, or been chosen, to relocate to one of our finest remaining Internet communities. I thought so much of The Escapist that I elected to establish my Administration here, in the Forums so thoughtfully provided by our Moderators. I have been proud to call The Escapist my home. And so, whether you are here to stay, or passing through on your way to parts unknown, Welcome to The Escapist. It's safer here.

Go read the rules, and don't drink the water.
*gulp* What wrong with the water?
So that's what poisoned you this morning!

OT:
Hey Carsten, your padawan name is Cobra or Nut.
Have a fun time, you should worship find out about Neonbob and Furburt soon enough, they are pretty much considered God and The Devil respectively, though they shouldn't be, simply to keep the peace.
Anyway, wipe your feet and take your shoes off on the way in, be friendly, we can go to the Winchester later.
