Iphone vs 360

Hey guys, so my birthday is coming up in a few months and I'm faced with a bit of a problem: My dad asked me if I want an Xbox 360 or an Iphone. I really want both but it would take me a while to save up for the second one.

So which should I get?
And what games/apps should I get?

They aren't even comparable. It's like choosing between a a tree or a breadbasket. If you want a phone, get the phone. If you want the console get the console.

Honestly I'd buy neither. If I had to choose between them I'd buy a phone but not an I-phone. There are much better ones out there despite what the hype would have you believe.

Last time I checked the iphone was more expensive than the 360. So if i was you I'd get him to buy you the iphone and you can pick up a 360 with birthday money or whatever. Get him to buy the most expensive

360 I say. The only point to the iPhone is.... well actually you can do better for cheaper if you want a phone - and the apps serve merely as a novelty after a while.

Whereas with the 360 you have a brand new gaming console with loads of great games to play (Even better if your friends have 360's, but it's not essential.)

Games to pick up would be -

Mass Effect 1 and 2 (Both fairly cheap now)
Gears of War 1 and 2 (Excellent games IMO)
Things like Oblivion and Fallout 3.

There are loads really, I can't list all of them but rest assured the 360 has a healthy catalogue of good games.

360, they are less likely to be stolen and as it is cheaper, you can get a bigger hard-drive and more games

If by a few months you mean before September, go for the 360. The new iphone comes out every September, so if it's after/during, I'd go for the iPhone.

I-Phone is overrated, really. I never use mine, like ever. All the "features" are just gimmicks, it's just a phone and that's all I really use it as. The whole "oohh cool touch screen apps so coool" appeal will wear off pretty quick, and then you just have an over sized useless gadget phone.

Go for the 360, get a normal phone.

My Iphone screen cracked so easily. They are very breakable, even if you keep them in a case. Also, I'd go Blackberry instead of Iphone. Blackberries have Flash on them, Iphones do not support Flash and probably never will.

Go for the 360 I'd say.

Well one of the brands I like is HTC. Specifically the hero model or wildfire. Perhaps look at the sony ericson xperia x10. Browse around on websites though and compare before you buy. Its important that you find a phone that suits your needs. Dont just jump at the first thing you see.
