No, they were trying to put me in a special needs class. I was doing below average in most of my classes, although that was more because my parents were in the middle of a divorce, my grandmother was physichally and emotionally abusing me, my teachers treated me like crap (My P.E. teacher punched me more than once), my schoolmates treated me like crap, too, and the meds the school was making me take were
seriously fucking me up.
And no one but my father believed it. They wanted to make me take it again, buy father called bullshit and told them to fuck themselves. I'm told that he said it quite literally.
Long story short, if I meant "Gifted", I would have said "Gifted". My childhood was not a happy one.
