4chan is kind of a gamble. Ys, /b/ is terrible, and the anonymity does mean that insults and such are a lot more widespread, but hey, a lot of the boards put out some genuine quality. For example, I regularly visit /tg/, though I don't play any traditional games, just because they have some of the most intelligent discussions on fantasy and sci-fi I've seen on the 'net.
