Is a PS2 good now?

Definitely get it. Sony has the biggest gaming catalogue...um, I think ever, but since they only made the first two waves of PS3s backwards compatible, you kinda need one to play all the games. Definitely worth it.

Hell yeah you should get a ps2 it's a damn great system the ps3 is just big and cost to much. Plus it has a good selection of games. I reccomend you get the original and not the slim one thoug

Yeah there are good games out there. Just go to a games store and raid the bargain bin

definately worth it. one of the best systems with probably the best catalog of games out there. Even original psone games would make it worth the 37.

That's a great price and while there isn't too many new games coming out for it there are still (a few - Wolverine is a recent good one) a ton of amazing games that you'll be able to get for cheap:

Anything with Katamari in the title.
Anything with GTA in the title, though San Andreas is the best.
And Burnout 3 & Revenge.

Start with one of each of those franchises and you have hours of entertainment ahead of you.

There's nothing wrong with getting a PS2 even now. The games are cheap not because they suck, but because they don't have shiny glittering graphics compared to 360 and PS3. As far as I'm concerned there are hardly any games still being made (if any) for the PS2, but the range of good games is in my opinion unmatched to this date. No matter what genre you're into, you'll get many good games.

So yeah, I'd go buy it, if I didn't have one already.

They still make barbie and crappy movie games on it.
