If we are talking about real life - yes it is, but also it isn't. This is because you don't have to worry about money troubles, what people think of you and general shit like that. Although this is only if you are a criminal mastermind, and it is a short life expectancy. But being good has its flaws as well, for example, you could become a pushover or too nice - and no-one likes that, also being good means you don't back-stab and make connections for your career etc etc...
If we are talking about games then its kinda 50-50 again. Because being bad in a video game allows you to piss about, killing and slaughtering the population of worthless beings that are below you. Which is drastically fun. But of course, in some games - like Mass Effect, if you are bad, you miss certain points in the story, or the plot churns out differently because you kill them straight away by pressing the "fight" dialogue option. So what I do is play the game good to start of with, so I can get all the story, then mess around with a bad guy.
