My chemistry teacher said that the fumes coming off of a bottle of bromine would temporarily kill your sex drive, but I'd probably check whether it's (a) true and (b) only temporary.

I have what I think is a relatively low libido. I whack it once a week pretty much routinely, and I'm not at all sexually frustrated.

EDIT: After checking the internet, people are indeed saying potassium/sodium bromide reduces sex drive and can be bought from pharmacies, but comes with various side-effects.

i guess the closest i have is to say that while homosexuality isn't harmful to the species, it isn't helpful either
Arguably it is very helpful in times of overpopulation (overcrowding or spreading resources too thinly results in lower health/quality of life overall for the population) which may explain why the chances a child will be gay is apparently increased if the mother has already had a lot of children (for male children, at least, I don't know if there's been a similar study on females). http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1502306/

Yes, it is quite possible. Become single, and then hang around with nothing but married couples who're past their 5 year (preferably 10+) anniversaries, especially ones with more than two small children, for about 18 to 24 months. The only things you'll be thinking about, dreaming of and craving are peace & quiet and a full night's rest.

Anti-depressants. I think they work wonders when it comes to lowering libidos.
Anti-depressants can have different side-effects that vary from person to person. For example, I've been on anti-depressants for seven months, and I haven't noticed any change in my libido.
