I get the same feeling from a good cycle, that's the endorphins running through your system. Coincidentally also gotten from sex, chocolate and drugs :D
But to be fair, the best cure for anger is a mosh pit, hands down. Just get out to the nearest Slayer gig and go wild :D

I reccomend going to your local comic book/table top gaming store and join a D&D group (3.5, if avaliable). After a couple of sessions, you should have a good idea of your character's personality. If you feel sad, just think not as yourself, but as your character. That, or see the new Star Trek multiple times. See the new Star Trek as frequently as possible, and happiness/confusion will fill the void.

I crank some metal on my mp3 player and go outside and do some physically labor until I'm exhausted. It drains me physically and helps me clear my head.

I listen to some loud music and draw something awesome. Art is a great outlet. But, I do my best not be depressed. When something gets me down, I just don't give a shit for a while, and suffer the consequences later. I don't mind.

If it's something else, hey give us a bit more info. Some people get sad when bad things are happening but others are just naturally prone to depression. Talking about it helps. Hang out with friends a bit more or something. Counselling can be good too. Doctors can help but avoid that route if you can because they generally just put you on drugs - it's a last resort.

Exercise is always good, it releases endorphins in the brain. You can some escapism though, like gameing, computer forums, comics, books.

Another thing you can try is to lie down, or sit somewhere quiet but cosy (your bedroom) and just think about what makes you feel this way, you you know what makes you feel sad you can oversome it...that is Bushido.

What is making you feel sad? choices in school? where your going with your life? friends? bullies? anxiety?
