I must have looked really shocked, because the cashier looked rather shocked back. Looking young runs in the family. My mom got carded up until she was 35, but this means I totally beat her record. I actually got carded back when I was 36 for an 18+ manga/.

But really when you get right down to it, sun exposure ages the skin, having kids gives women wide, middle-aged butts and I have no kids, and I do not generally act or dress like a grownup. That's why everyone guesses a decade low on my age. So being a rather stereotypical, immature, no-life gamer definitely has an upside.

I get some odd compliments, an occupational hazard of being odd among odd people, but the only dubious one was also the single greatest compliment I have ever recieved. The context and person has a huge effect on just why it stands out, but the words themselves were, spoken in total seriousness:
