Taking 'main character' as a broad category rather than strictly meaning the player character: both Martin and the quickly-deceased emperor in Oblivion have British accents, along with many vital NPCs. Sheogorath is... Christ knows what, he seems to flit between Scottish, Irish and Pirate, sometimes all within the same sentence.

I assumed that by "American" the OP meant... "standard" American, so to speak. The kind of American accent foreigners tend to mistake for Canadian, or vice versa.

1)The SAS in COD 4.
2)The Russians/Middle Easterners in COD 4.
3)The Russians in COD: WAW.
4)The Japanese/Germans in COD: WAW.
5)Any of the support characters in Assassin's Creed(well...in the Animus thing, at least).
6)The bad guys in Uncharted.
7)Lara Croft.
8)Gordon Freeman. He doesn't have any accent.
9)Mario.
10)Link. Same as Gordon.

And that's just some of them...
