In short... no, I wouldn't recommend it. There are too many other fantastic games you could spend your money on.
I was told the same thing. I did the free trail and got two characters to level 12-ish. Wasn't too interested so i never went back. All my wow mates say I didn't like it because i didn't get to doing instances / rades / mounts / bumfucking / etc..RikSharp said:[link]www.trywarcraft.com[/link]
in my experience, this became the most boring game out there quite quickly.
"but it really opens up when you get to the high levels" they said.
"so i have to pay to play a game i dont like now so that i might like it later?" i said
i havent played it since
I mean, yeah, games in general could be viewed as a waste of time, but WoW wastes at least twice as much time. If you don't know how to control it it gets even worse.Xzi said:Well you could very well argue that any game is a waste of time. I don't think they are, though, as long as you are having fun during the time you spend playing them.Littaly said:In money? Yes.
In time? No.
For the past five years now it's definitely been the game from which I've gained the best value for money.Purge_121 said:As shocking as it may sounds (as as far as other gamers i know i seem to be the only one) i have yet to even try any versoin on World of Warcraft. and my concern is that although it may be very good, is it really worth paying for, even after i buy it? i dont fancy the idea of having to pay for a game i've already baught.. especially if i end up not liking it.. oh and i work alot so i dont have much time to play, and i feel i wouldnt really be getting what i paid for if i dont use it that often,,,
