Mine is the same gender as me!

It's very simple. I'm a girl so I want a girl to represent me.

I'm like that with fighting games. Never, ever, ever play with a male character. It was tough back when you only had 2 girls but now many of them have at least 5 or so and that helps bunches.

With avatars I don't really care that much. I don't necessarily want everyone to know OH HEY I'M A GIRL HI! I play pretty much exclusively female characters in RPG's, though, but it's not like I can't play Gears because I HAVE to be Marcus.

The word you are looking for is 'sex', not 'gender'. Sex is whether you are male or female; gender is masculine or feminine personality traits or self-identity.

Anyway; yeah, mine's the same.
