I am stoked!!! Massively stoked! :D

As for my favourite scene... It has to be when Moss takes Roy to the Countdown winners soft-drink club!
Or the bit in the theatre when they are trying to work out if Jens bf is gay... and they watch Gay: The gay musical about being gay... Which ends with Roy pretending to be in a wheelchair and Moss working behind the theatre bar!

While this is all well and good, a sudden thought has filled me with dread... What if it ends up being like that final episode of Red Dwarf?

The amount of bile and vitriol I generated watching them step onto the Coronation Street set could have kept the Chinese traditional medicine market going for a year.

I'm pretty damn excited.
My favourite scene? Well there are quite a few but the short list goes a little like this.

And of course, a reference that often comes up during role play...

I'm excited but sad cos I absolutely love the show and I'm sad to see it go.
It's probably one of my favourite shows, the humour is just spot on for me and Graham Linehan is just brilliant.
The actors are just fantastic, I love Richard Ayaode and Matt Berry, they're just freaking hilarious. I like their work in The Mighty Boosh too. Chris Morris is just a legend too.

There's soooo many favourite bits. Street countdown, the 8+ club, when Roy pretends to be crippled and everyone is waving at him going into the mobility taxi XD

Not really the best scenes and it's probably best to watch full episodes.

my favorite is the bomb defusing robot scene, from when Moss and Roy play hookie

I seem to have a problem with the defusing robot!

What operating system is it running?

"Vista".

"We're all gonna die!!!"

Best. Show. Ever.

Ok, I watched both of these clips.

Are there jokes in them?

I just never got this show. It has good actors and great writers, and I'm into computers. I just can't find the humour.
There is none. I don't think I've seen a worse attempt at comedy than this show. It's not only not funny, it's annoying. The worst thing is the canned laughter after every line.
I'm not gonna argue humour, subjective and all that jazz, but there's no canned laughter. IT Crowd is filmed live.
That's a worry then. Who laughs that much at this stuff? What the hell are the live audience smoking? I want some.

Humour might be subjective, but objectively, cramming as many jokes and one-liners into the shortest time possible is bad and monotonous for the viewer. That's all the new comedies seem to be able to do. Is it too much to ask for a few minutes of plot development between the hilarity? Or does the audience suddenly fall asleep without laughing every 5 seconds?
It's not really a worry at all.

Jimmy Carr (comedian) has pointed out on several occasions that laughter is a very social thing, when you are surrounded by friends and family or just fellow comedy goers you laugh a hell of a lot more than when you are alone, it is a way of telling people you get the joke.

This is why a lot of people cannot grasp 'laugh tracks', they think nobody laughs that much, but it's almost a certainty you yourself would laugh that much if you were watching the live filming of your favourite comedy TV series as part of the audience.

You can try it at home, watch something you know to be funny alone and then watch the same thing a few weeks later with friends, even though you know the jokes are coming, you'll laugh a lot more with friends.

Your realise it carried on for another series after back to earth right?
6 episodes back on the dwarf and whilst not as good as some of the old stuff it was pretty decent.
It was atleast better than the last "return" it had when all the crew came back in series 8 and it just became lets make a fool of the captain.

As for the IT crowd most of the good moments have already been mentioned so i'll toss my vote in for "the internet" panic scene someone posted earlier.

Not so much a clip but an entire episode. I can watch and rewatch the episdoe where they go see a live show and Roy winds up pretending he's handicapped where as Moss winds up working the bar. I laugh my ass off every time I see that one. Shame the US version never got a chance though it was probably for the best.

I'm super excited!! I love how everyone is so dang lovable in this show.
My favourite bit is the one where Jen pretends to speak Italian. She's so weird she doesn't even know it.
