It would work nothing like that when you consider all the democrats moving to democrat states and all the republicans moving to republican states and cities in republican states would be vacated and Democrat states would turn into mega cities. Democrat states would gain a huge population boost. Austin would be vacated as well as it is primarily democratic as well, so No, it would not be the capital, unless of course Texas flips to democrats as is possible in the near future anyways. This fails to breakdown the NUMBER of Democrats and Republicans in each area and just lumping them into states when they currently benefit from democrat policies that would be revoked under a republican government, which would STILL result in riots in republican states. Once Democrats evacuated to democrat states, the GDP and population would shift even farther to the left. GOP controls rural areas, democrats control populated ones.
