...is it safe to say I don't like eggnog or am I going to be beaten with sticks?
OT: I guess mine would've been yesterday. All of my friends stopped talking to me because of some shit another one of my them started, my mother blamed me for it, and I nearly set fire to myself and the house because I burned the food I was making.
Then, as I was ready to throw myself off a roof, my friend who I have not talked to in two weeks, due to his vacation, signed into messenger and brightened my day with a round of Left 4 Dead. I got to hear his voice for the first time, too. I was happy. ^_^

I love how this has turned into a thread about eggnog: a classic case of OP inadvertent derailing.
OT: The other day, I played Rock Band again for the first time in a long time and realized that I had become dramatically worse at it. I was so disappointed until I realized that it was just because I had gotten so used to playing real guitar, so I decided to dub myself "not that bad" at playing guitar anymore. I was quite satisfied with myself.

I didn't like eggnog at first until I had it a couple of times. Every year I drink it I like it more and more... now I really want some eggnog...MadeInThe90s said:

I really need to try eggnog now. It sounds like the second coming. Which I guess it is, sort of. Because you know, it's the second coming of eggnog to Wal-Mart since last year. Eh, things either don't go my way or they stay going my way. Casinos are such an example, I either lose a lot (F*** you Treasure Island, f*** you...) or I can walk away with at least two hundred dollars (God bless you Grand Casino and your friendly Shinobi Slot Machine).
But I suppose I could say I was bummed at the state fair once when I was a kid as my parents wanted to drag me to where the horses were, I hated this because I always had a strong sense of smell and well... horses don't smell good. But I found ten dollars along the way. Does that count?

I'm British so I've never tried it but what is Eggnog? What does it taste like?
