Look for survivors. But, if I know I'm the last survivor I would pay a visit to Roland Emerich's grave and start praising 2012 the movie. This is after the ultimate disaster has occurred right? So, it is also after all real logic and taste in the arts has died. I imagine the post-Apocalyptic modern art stayed relatively the same though.

Well, seeing as this whole 2012 thing isnt as bad as its made out to be I probably couldnt care less
Its not even gonna be like "Hellfire and Brimstone" like people think...or 2012 for that matter

Im sure its something to do with a Pole Shift (noth becomes south) which in turn knocks the Earths magnetic field off...All that around the time the Sun is at its most violent, spewing Solar flares everywhere which act like giant EMP blasts. Couple that with Earths field being weakened, all electrical grids are gonna be fried, along with anything else electrical.
Its gonna be like Escape From L.A when he sets the EMP bomb off...Its not gonna be a matter of days, weeks or years but more like centuries before we can make ANYTHING electrical work again

The Solar Flare/Pole Shift was pulled off of NASAs website a while back
Seeing as its more believable "end of the world" thing and has conctrete evidence to back it up, I think its a possibility it could happen

See, my first thought would be, "Are there any bodies?"

I'd make sure I can survive, first off. Get MREs from a military base, learn how to hunt, befriend as many dogs as possible to fend off other wild dogs, find a solar powered house, etc.

Then I'd just read and learn about cloning.

Either that, or dig straight down until I find diamond.

That's actually a great plan. Except for the diamond thing, I don't get that.

Well, lots of people will tell you not to dig straight down, but I'm a risk taker. Also, I need diamond to make a diamond pick axe, which lasts longer than an iron pick axe. I'm hoping to find enough diamond to make diamond armor and a diamond sword.

I'd search the world for a copy of Fallout: New Vegas
Steal a massive TV, Food and other cool shit.
Play for a a few weeks.
Then have the idea of.. "well if Vegas is like that in Fallout, which is also like the end of the world.. maybe its like that now"
Then set off for Vegas.
Along the way, steal shit and have fun.

I would try Cartman's plan on repopulating the Earth(+10 if you know what Im talkn about)
play as many stolen games I could until the leftover energy from the power plants is gone. Then find an ipod put as many songs as possible on it, create a solar charger for it, and explore the remains of the world.

I'd probably wander for a bit then follow make myself comfortable, following Maslow's hierarchy of needs. Then I'll realise I can't get past the social part and make friends out of ruins and people's remains and move up in the hierarchy. I'll then go with the crazy flow from there.

Find food sources and pack lots of food for myself. Find somewhere (somewhat) comfortable to make a new home out of and make a long, glorious bucket list of things to do (and places to go) before I die and accomplish as much of it as possible because odds are I may not last long.
