Nowadays, when I new Pokemon game comes out, the Legendaries are usually among the first to be revealed, and there's never any point in trying to find out how to catch them because Nintendo eventually gives them away over Wi-fi. What's the fun in that?

Completely agree - it spoils it for you when the legends you hear rumors about in the game are revealed to you on the freaking box art. I liked the subtle hints about them hidden in the game (like seeing articuno through the binoculars and hearing rumors from random people). Now you can buy a game and know what legendary you're going to get from it

You people killed my high. Now I wish there was a story that I could go through to catch it.... *cries*

But on the flip side, its a nice way to end off pokemon before going onto black and white with completely new ones.

Like any good story ending where it began, it felt very... uh... what's the word, complete? Reminisant? Going to Pallet town with Mew. Brings everything together.

I dunno, I though it was nice.
