We put up our tree Thanksgiving night, then my mom drags me to do some really retarded Black Friday shopping. It's retarded.

For me it starts after Thanksgiving (Black Friday) and ends a little after New Years (when my Christmas break ends). Some aspects of it pick up earlier than that, however, what with living in a commercial society and all.

I love this time of the year, because it gives me an extra-special sense of satisfaction to be a sacrastic prick to everbody and thier false sense of goodwill and forced merriment. I got asked last year why I went out of my way to shit all over people's holidays, and I told the guy that I don't. It's just more noticeable because everybody's lying to everyone around them with thier "Happy Holidays" well-wishing bullshit and that I was just more visible this time of year because I refused to lie to those around me by wishing false happiness upon them.
