Welp, I got nothing better to do:
Likes - Mass Effect 3 (all of it, the endings get my dick rock hard), Saints Row 3, and Predator: Concrete Jungle.
Every note hit in Mass Effect 3 was just perfect for me. I enjoyed the conversations, the outcomes and everything to do with the old and new members of Shepard's team (bar 2, but I'll get to that later). The battles felt solid, and the endings just felt right to me. I chose Destroy because it's what I've been trying to do for 2 games.
Unlike most people I enjoyed how whacky and stupid Saints Row 3 got. I felt like the series was always topping itself, and enjoyed not having to do 50 side missions to then do 1 main mission to then go back to doing 50 side missions.
And Predator: Concrete Jungle is more or less just nostalgia. It has terrible controls and graphics, the difficulty is brutal, and the missions are quite meh. But god damn something just keeps bringing me back to the game, and even though it can pull some unfair punches, I just love going back.
Dislikes - Half Life, Far Cry 3, Tali and Liara.
To be honest, I didn't play any of the Half Life games until last year, and they really bored me to tears. I'm not a fan of a game that gives relatively no clues on what to do, the story didn't hook me in, and the controls felt REALLY out dated.
The gameplay should have made me like Far Cry 3, but the story and characters were just too douchey for my likings. Firstly, all the friend characters and Jason were just college douchebags with rich parents, the Rakyat warriors were fucking useless (No wonder why they lost control), Citra was annoying, and I hated the climbing mechanics. Also, Ubisoft really screwed up by making all the promos make Vaas look like the main character.
As for Tali and Liara, they both just piss me off. Tali is made an admiral in ME3 and instead of leading her people she comes on my ship and is like, "I totally still wanna do you even though you're clearly banging Miranda". And Liara is annoying because I never really liked her oh woe is me character. Also, when she sees the Asari husks and starts talking about how horrible the Reapers are for doing such a thing I felt like blowing her head off and pointing out that they've been doing it to humans for years.
