I don't mind actually being able to play a song properly, because I'm not sure if I'm the creative type when it comes to music or not. I guess I'm going to have to wait to find out when I'm better at it and can move my hands faster and understand what cords work well together and such. At the moment I'm just happy when I can play a song I like!Berethond said:

Just play them as fast as you can, both hands, multiple octaves. That keeps 'em fun, a little.
Make sure you learn all 48 of the basic ones, then throw in some modes, pentatonics, blues scales...
Be sure you study your chords too!
Lol, actually I felt guilty about not practicing them as often as I should have when you mentioned it before so I've just been on the piano practicing C major, two hands two octaves. I know we'll be going over scales in my lesson today... Why does something so annoying have to be so good for learning?Berethond said:

If so I'll PM Lab and see if she would want it posted in her artist thread or to make a new one dedicated to just people being able to post videos of themselves playing. I think it would be a really fun thing for the community to do.
