Anyway I'll just wait for the $30.00 Game of the Year edition on consoles that will include the DLC.

Its Microsofts policy to not allow free content. They forced valve to put a price on it because microsoft pays for the servers.

Yeah, I responded to that above. Frickin Microsoft, why allow free Mass Effect 2 DLC, but not Left 4 Dead 2. (Not that I don't love ME2 DLC, but c'mon, be consistent.)

Valve has their own ways to distribute their games/updates on the pc via Steam which lets at their judgement if you should pay for something and how much.

but on the 360, greedy MS takes control of the online distributing and again they decideif you should pay for something and how much.

Not Exactly. The model for the Fallen Survivor is the same as the originally cut version. The difference is that the original would drop a molotov and create a small area of fire. The new one just drops various times from guns to medkits.

Ask Microsoft, they're the ones forcing Valve to charge for it, Valve would release it for free otherwise, that's why they haven't released any DLC for Team Fortress 2, as it would be unfair on people who wern't willing to pay for the new weapons, however they released this as it doesnt effect anyone who doesn't have it aside from they can't play on the map.

I did not know that Microsoft was responsible... Thank you.

Still, you can't deny that there are some PC Gamers who are weirdly elitist about PC gaming...

I wonder if the fallen survivor is the same one that was never used - i.e. the guy with a molotov, a healthkit and ammo strapped to him who acts kind of like a mini molotov when you shoot him in the chest. I wonder just 'cause he seems more like a hindrance to the infected than the survivors.
