Nothing! His remakes are terrible! Come to think of it, Time Burton really hasn't made a really good movie for over 10 years.

If we're talking fairy tale/classic children's lore, I wouldn't mind seeing what he could do with Hansel and Gretel.

Right now I'm just looking forward to Alice in Wonderland (and Dark Shadows following that).

I'd love to see his take on things like Beauty and the Beast or The Huncheback of Notre Dame for kids movies. Make them Stop Motion.

That looks ... quite interesting really.

Is it me, or does the Cheshire Cat remind of American Mcgee's Alice's version? Evil grin, grey fur with black markings, ...

beauty and the beast would be interesting, but only if it was above a 15 rating, anything lower would be too corpse bridy

Now that you mention it...
But Burton's version is better because it'll be voiced by Stephen bloody Fry.

I'd like to see him do some of the more obscure Grimm's fairy tales. Or even the more well known ones if he kept their proper endings.

The Wizard of Oz. It's a creepy book as it is, and if Tim Burton did it that would put the icing on the cake.
You probably wont have to wait long, this must be on the shortlist of movies to remake. I'd have to see it to judge it, though!

Forget movies, I want to see Tim Burton fight crime...

[small]Johnny Depp would be his sidekick...[/small]
That would be awesome. What should their super hero names be?

OP: Don't really know any movie that needs Tim Burton to remake it. I'm not that petty with movies. Only with really bad movies, and then it's a lost case already.

I wanna make Tim Burton make Planet Of The Apes... But ya know... Good.
Which version are you insulting? The old, amazing one or the new, meh one?
The Tim Burton Remake, which is the only Tim Burton film that has ever bored me.

Oh god nothing, im so sick of Tim Burton and his crap. Whatever he remakes will have Johnny Depp in it even if he doesnt fit the character. Guillermo del Toro is much better.
Get out. Now.

I would like to see any major fairytale redone in Burton's style.

You have to remember that anything made by Tim Burton must star Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter by law.
Can't we drop the wench? Please.
Cant we drop them both? actually, all 3. How i loath Tim Burton. Let me count the ways...almost as much as i really really dont like Johnny Depp. Helena, im not a fan but i can appretiate what she does as being good, even if im not into it. But weird character acting for the sake of it, not good. That said Nick of Time isnt a bad film, probably mr depps finest.

Seconded.

For me Tim Burton is too OTT now; his older stuff was fine (in fact Sleepy Hollow was a good film IMO).

I would rather he stayed away from re-making anyfilm, And came up with something new and refreshing.

The stuff Burton wrote on his own was always much better. Remakes will never be that good even with a great producer.

I do not believe either of them are in A Nightmare Before Christmas.
