I hate Being Human and think it is the most trite, transparent, garbage on television. I've been watching it relgiously since the first episode.

Perhaps I have some sort of disease?

I've gone the other way around.

There used to be so much stuff I liked that I now hate. Sweetcorn, Pizza, Spare Ribs, Bamboo Shoots, Watermelon. Nothing has replaced them either which sucks ;_;

Let the leaf flow through you.

OT: I used to hate coffee, but then I had this lovely cappuccino when I was on holiday.

I love cappuccino...
That's the route I took... now I drink coffee black no sugar! :/ Also, you will be compelled to try a latte next... or even a frappacino! Supprisingly the coffee/ice mixes are really quite nice! :p

OT: I used to despise Americans...

Yes... I will admit it, I am sorry, but I did... And then I worked for them for 6 months! Now I don't...

Same can't be said for the blasted french though! :/

I used to hate pure orange juice. Now I loooove it. I used to drink like 6 litres a week but I don't really now. Asda used to have a 2 for £1.50 offer so I'd get three lots but they don't do it any more.

Justin Timberlake used to annoy me too. But because of The Lonely island and SNL, I quite like the guy now.
Similar deal here. I still hate pure orange juice with a passion. Well, no.

I hate the concentrate stuff with a passion but just under 2 years ago I discovered freshly squeezed orange juice and now I love that shit.
The stuff from concentrate, which is nearly everything you can find in jugs/cartons/etc. in stores, is terrifying stuff and has almost nothing to do with either oranges or juice. If you've ever seen anything about the process it goes through when they produce it so that it all comes out looking and tasting the same all the time, even for the "all natural" stuff, it's no wonder it's crap. I like oranges, and I like the juice when it comes directly from them and is unadulterated, but that...whatever that is that they pretend is orange juice is an insult to oranges.

I used to hate Leonardo DiCaprio as a kid, exclusively because he was the wide-eyed pretty boy of cinema at that point. Then, after years of not really caring, I saw Blood Diamond. I half-heartedly joked that I liked it because he dies at the end, but I wasn't fooling anyone. I now think he's a very good actor.

I was a non-drinking teenager (and a weird case because even my parents were trying to persuade me to start drinking), mainly because of the taste. But now, years later, I enjoy a cold beer, an occasional glass of wine, a shot of vodka, and mead. Oh God, mead, I love that thing. And I even started dabbling in making my own flavours.

And growl vocals in metal. Although there are still growl styles which don't work for me, I now listen to several bands using growl.

I used to hate human beings, then I became one.

Worst decision I ever made. Hopefully some day I can return to the state of pre-humanity.

I used to not like onion rings, but now I think it tastes pretty good...at some places anyway, at others it tastes like crap.

Tastes develop like that, your taste in food, entertainment. Everything really.

It's nothing to be shocked about but yeah, you're gonna get a hell of a lot of "I told you so's", I know I'd say that if I said tea was nice while you were in that phase XD

But yeah.. you get that in life, I used to abhor various types of vegetables, everything from Tomatoes to mushrooms, even onions.

I now love all of those vegetables, it's just part of growing up. Though some people hate tea and will always hate it.

I like to think of those people as Borg. It makes me feel better inside, much like tea does.

Mmm tea...

What was I talking about?

Used to hate raging dota players, got better, am now one of them.

Fact. Success is inversely proportional to the number of baddies on your own team.

Second fact. winning is fun.

But I'm actually ok with the DotA culture now that I understand why people get annoyed. Dying not only advantages the opposition directly, but also simultaneously negatively affects your own team by removing you from play. When it's 5v5, that's a very large gap.

I had some ginseng or green tea last weekend, it was nothing more that hot leaf juice. I'm most willing to try other flavors, that kind I had was...... no taste is how I would describe it.

Is there anything that you used to dislike but have recently come around to. It could be food, music, actors, films, ideas or anything.
Ironically (considering your OP): Coffee.

I'm American, but I hated coffee and loved tea. This continued until I tried one of those Starbucks pre-mixed Vanilla coffee-milk things and it was amazingly good. So I tried ordering coffee drinks with extra sweetener and extra milk and... like that, I like it.

I still love tea, though. But coffee - particularly sweet iced coffee with soymilk... oh so good.

My 12 year old self would hate me for what I've become. I was once a fairly bright, introverted guy who was maybe a bit too shy for his own good. Now I'm a loudmouth asshole who lives for the party of life.

I guess the only thing that springs to mind would be I used to hate rock and metal music when i was very little, but now quite like it.

Older brother liked it therefore I hated it, and I do believe I did genuinely hate it until I actually tried listening to some of it... Then I secretly started liking it, then loved it, and now I just quite like it again since it's lost a lot of the excitement and sense of discovery I felt exploring that genre for the first time.

Facebook. I resisted getting one for so long. I had Livejournal back in the day and got sick of it, so I didn't see why this would be any different. But I went overseas recently and met a bunch of cool people, and in the end the only reliable way I was going to be able to keep contact was via Facebook.

I still think it's stupid.

Mayonnaise.
My sister used to love it, I used to hate it.
Then I had it in a chicken sandwich one time, since I couldn't get one without mayo and lettuce.
Now, if something comes with lettuce and mayo, I'm fine, and I generally try to get mayo in any chicken sandwiches I have.
It just makes them so much better. Much to my disgust.

Same here. In elementary school we all hated him because the girls had crushes on him. Then he started making good movies. To my eternal shame, I agree, he's a good actor.

Oh Tea, the god of the drinking beverage.

Welcome to the tea drinkers my friend. One of us. One of us.

I still hate coffee though.

I refuse to ever like coffee.
I still think coffee is the superior drink. Nothing beats a cup of coffee in the morning.
But it tastes like gravel and smells like cement...

Oh god why.
You wanna know why?
