The original took like, 300 million dollars or something ridiculous like that to make, the sequel won't cost less...Drundy said:Also i think there will be a sequel, I mean they have all the data , all character models etc, it should be very cheap to produce.
Now now, be nice to newcomers.Julianking93 said:Seriously, can we please get off the whole Avatar thing?
There's already about a million threads just like this.

That's basically the story. If you go into the movie and don't know exactly how the entire story will unfold within the first 45 minutes, you better have been living in a cave for your entire life.Sturmdolch said:It looks terrible. I heard its basically the same old Evil White People Destroying Natives story, except with crappy CGI aliens in place of the Natives. But everyone says how good it is, so I'm seeing it on Tuesday. I have high expectations.
Actually, it would. They no longer have to create the technology to make the movie, it's already been made.AkJay said:The original took like, 300 million dollars or something ridiculous like that to make, the sequel won't cost less...
well you've pretty much got the right idea, except replace 'crappy CGI aliens' with 'beautiful mo-cap aliens'. for such a familiar story, they made it really compelling by making the visual experience absolutely awesome. if you've got high expectations, make sure you see it in 3D so you can see what people are really talking about. i saw it with someone who had already seen it in 2D and he says the difference is jaw droppingSturmdolch said:It looks terrible.
