Asian automakers got into the market when Detroit had a recession in the 80's. since then literally hundreds of thousands of people who worked in the plants for most of their lives have been laid off. Ford is the last independent american automaker. GM is bankrupt and Chrysler was made to join some Italian company. Meanwhile Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Acura, and others have made enormous gains at the expense of America.

Ford is the last independent american automaker. GM is bankrupt and Chrysler was made to join some Italian company. Three reasons based on nothing more than opinion. Do you have three that are based on fact? How about a company that employs Americans? Or helps Americans in need? I will admit my second is also biased as americans make strange porn, but thats just as bad.
