Don't worry OP, wanting to rip clothing off women is part of growing up, you don't need to feel ashamed :p
Haha, that's what I thought.

Though honestly I can't really say I'm against it or for it unless I see it. I mean maybe it was a coincidence or maybe it didn't even happen.

That's what religions do. Assimilate other stuff in hopes to attract suckers new people.

"hey look at that, that pagan celebration on the 25th of December that so many places celebrate already would make a dandy date for the birth of Christ!"... "That highly recognizable style that's very popular with the kids sure would give us some nice credit with the youth if we somehow managed to associate it with our cult!"

..etc.

I'm not sure whether to laugh or not.
I am at a genuine loss for words, i mean don't get me wrong if people wanna put their faith on a t shirt being "helped along" by a popular character, gaming or otherwise then thats fine, but surely this breaks copy writing laws?

Maybe i've missed something but surely they would sell it on this site as well?

EDIT: Additional point: Why should God be a he?
If I remember correctly somewhere in Genesis it said that God supposedly created Adam after his own appearance.

Almost certainly a coincidence. I once saw some girl wearing a hoodie with the kanji for "ten" or "sky/heaven" written on the back. Naturally, I assumed it was a reference to Street Fighter, or more specifically, Akuma, who wears the same kanji on his back. Turned out the hoodie was for some local soccer team.

These things happen.

It is because the rest of society that is blinded by not being open minded, have to steal the ideas of said open minded people (ZeroP) to appear as if they have personality.

And that couldn't just mean "human?"

Also, some people don't take that literally, probably because the idea of all of humanity coming from two people is a little...
Eh...I hesitate to say "insane" or "impossible," but.

T'be honest, I couldn't get past the "who begat who" part - I don't care who wrote it, that's a shitty way to introduce characters, and whoever did write it should be damned ashamed.
...It's sci-fi... It's whatever the hell you want it to be... The authors hint heavily towards a male character but, in your argument's defense, at the time it was written society kind of looked at women as inferior, thus man would obviously be made first, and woman taken as a "part" of man... Also would explain why most of the stuff I remember seems to hint towards a male character. In the end it's like the briefcase in Ronin. Fill in the blank yourself.

I never got the whole gender of God question. If there was always only one god, why would it need a gender? And if God is omnipotent couldn't s/he easily change his/her gener easily? And finally if Idoletry is forbidden, why do keep giving him/her a form in the first place?

Oh well, you just trying to be cotnroversial. I shouldn't be dumping my opinions about other people's posts on this thread.

EDIT: I can't help it.

I always thought that was a metaphor for self-awarness. But that said they might have gained self-aweness when they ate the forbidden fruit.

Theology is tricky.

They're taking something popular and recognizable and blending it with another popular, recognizable object. It happens all the time, really. Game Fuel (Halo, WoW), tie-dyed shirts and marijuana... Well, you get the idea.
It can be amusing to do it the other way round. I personally have always liked the darwin fish with legs.

Huh, that's... weird.
But the world is a weird place.
I guess it was bound to happen someday.

I personally love this idea. Glad to see religion changing with the times (or at least keeping up with them a bit) That's my problem with religion some parts (looking at you Vatican) are to resistant to change and follow 2000 year old books word for word (i personally see a lot of the bible a collection of moral stories relevant for the time to make teachings a bit less abstract, mainly the new testament the old one just seems bit too dates).

anyway euhm tell yahtzee and see what he says about it :p
Never said it was necessary. I was interested in how he knew.

Yes, it did. The church also said that Mary Magdalene was a whore until a few decades ago. It's a book, written entirely by men, that constantly makes nods that women are some how inferior and the cause of all the evil in the world.

So why should we believe God is a she, if she exsists? My reasoning is simple. When giving birth to a child, what sex does every baby start as? That's right, female. Before that Y chromosome kicks in, every man was a female for a short period of time.

Because people like to display their faith, as if we care?
Or their lack of faith.
It works both ways.

Also, incidentally: Putting a Jesus fish on your car doesn't mean you can ignore basic traffic safety.
Fucking stop trying to run me off the road - if God wanted me dead, she'd do it herself.

Oh, and stop putting the Confederate flag on the back of your hick truck.
We get it, you don't like black people or being able to see out the back window.
The South lost!
Seriously people.
Flying a confederate flag (or having a bumper sticker) doesnt mean you hate black people, it just means that you believe in having less power in the federal government
and as for the hoodie, I'm sure that if Ben really cares, he will contact a lawyer
