That was magnificent. :D Thank you, Jim, for that bounty of extra Jimquisition in song. And thank you, God, for Jim!

But maybe I'll just buy it all as DLC.

Watch Video
Hahaha good summary of DLC!

Unrelated topic, after seeing the extreme close up, are you down sizing the Jimquisition? I DEMAND EVERY KILO WE PAID FOR!

Pretty sure I enjoyed that a helluva lot more than my dog did. Pitchy but awesome. Thanks, Jim.

It's brillant and made my day ^^.

I hope you'll make a Jimquisition about Mr Phil Spencer (boss of Microsoft Studio) that said on a french VG site: "Players wouldn't be so opposed to the principle of "pay to win" as we think".

Yep ! He's speaking about Pay to Win, by the mean of microtransactions of course (it's bad !) but a far worse thing that we have today...

VG are like TV, we have what we deserve and i don't want to have P2W in any game i buy.

An entire Jimquisition without a mention of dicks or Jim tonguing inanimate objects?

What is happening!?

Very funny though.

Funny, totally apt and bloody well sung. *Applause*

(I feel I need to write more as not to get another infraction again, even though people who write as little as "Brilliant!" seem to somehow get away with it. *shakes fist at sky* - there that should be enough text to be safe)
[edit] Also Jim's smile at the end is priceless. (Yes watched this a good 3 times now)

I can't stand Oasis. But that was one of the funniest things I have ever seen.

Thank God for Jim.

I'm actually a bit annoyed that Jim didn't reserve a standard Jimquisition for this since it's the main issue that is worrying me about the future of videogames, in fact it's pretty much already upon us were we cannot pay a single price and get a full game. There's countless DLC, microtransactions, unlockables hidden behind grindwalls etc. that punish the player for not spending more money on the game they paid full price on.

I don't buy that many games, but a huge factor in whether I purchase a game or not depends on how much extra costs the developer is chewing up spitting out and expecting the consumer to sponge up with their wallets to get hold of all the content in order to play the game best.

EAs microtransactions in particular really worry me. I don't want my games being built around F2P grindwall or Skinners box mechanics, but the ever steady march of new games is bringing us there, and if the gaming community just accept it, then everyone will include it in their games, and finding a good, complete game that isn't balanced around payments for convenience will be next to impossible.

Still, as far as parody songs go, this was a really good one, don't think I can fault the lyrics, and I'm really picky about that.

In fairness, I've done a serious episode on this subject before.

And I'm still deliberating doing another one on Monday. Undecided, currently.

Ah, I'll have to give myself a refresher view of that one, If there are more points you're considering that you left out in the previous one, or more detail you could go into then I'd love to see a second video on it. If not... well there's always the inexhaustible pit of gender issues in gaming!
