Jim, once again, you're right on. I admit I can irrationally hate EA for ruining Mass Effect 3 (even though that is unsubstantiated accusation, not actually based on fact and the fact that I'm still pretty bitter about the ending being such a slap in the face) or for being competition-killing assholes for making sure there won't be another 2K Games-made NFL games (I still hold the opinion that ESPN NFL 2K5 was the last truly great realistic football game) until the NFL realizes EA is not good at their jobs, but that's really the reason why; they've eschewed improving the video game industry by providing great products at a lower price in favor of every bad habit that's running rampant in video games today (lousy DRM, withholding content in order to wring out more money as DLC instead of making it an extra, online passes that treat players like criminals, etc.) and making it even worse.
