I have often wondered what will happen to me when I get older. Will I still like video games? Will I still be able to play them and enjoy them? I do believe I have just had a positive glimpse into my future. :)

Sorry, I misread the title as: "Man that makes movies has opinion about video games".

Borderlands 2 was literally the same game with a new coat of paint and the fact that it received such high praise by both journalists and gamers is a mystery for me. Maybe I'm still sore over the whole "Gearbox screws us over DNF and A:CM" thing.
The world is really amazing, and captures the post-apocalyptic manic tone of the Mad Max movies but fleshes it out in an extensive way that a movie series can't (especially one on such a small budget). Most every sequel by a big publisher is very similar to it's predecessor.

Both Borderlands games have no serious weaknesses - they have really good writing, great characters, some of the best shooter gameplay in history, lots of variation in equipment, a fun and extensive plot.

The first Borderlands game was critically controversial, scoring a mere 81 on Metacritic. The critics warmed to the series by the time the second one was released, and admittedly the second one is better.

I play very few shooters - the Borderlands series is third behind only the Doom series and Deus Ex series in time I've spent playing. That's some impressive company.

I don't agree that Borderlands 2 is one of the greatest games ever made, but it may be one of the most fun.

This just in: A person has an opinion! He likes one thing more than another thing!

Next you'll be telling us he prefers Rocky Road Ice Cream to Strawberry!

We're on the cutting edge of breaking news up in here. <_<

I don't see how this is news worthy, but it is nice to see someone else with Borderlands 2 as their favorite game.
It isn't really news worthy, but something's gotta be put up ya know? Kind of how the business runs; if there's no content, people wont come to see the site.
Yeah. Generally speaking, news days seem to get really slow this time of year. It must be the heat.

While not really newsworthy, at least it's something that isn't anger inducing or controversial.
I mean, you'd have to be awfully petty to hate the guy just for saying he likes a game.

...Oh, right. Internet. Silly me.

(Though I'd kill to get him in on a Borderlands 2 run. Wouldn't even yack his ear off about his work, as he's probably had enough of that.)

too bad he picked problemlands as his favourite, but hey like what you want who am i to speak, after all i liked War and Peace.
