There's nothing wrong with franchises. Wait, is it a franchise if you just do the same game a bunch of times?Valagetti said:Wow all francises eh? Can't get more depressing than that!
All you do is add them on your friends list and create a party? SC2 supports cross region, it's just a little harder to work around.Grey_Focks said:Eh, pretty much what I expected from you, though I think only Halo would make it to my top 5 out of you list, though I will say you list comes a little closer to mine than Russ's.
I was actually really letdown by Starcraft 2. I mean, the multiplayer pretty much went exactly the way I thought it would, I'd have about a week of actual fun games before everyone started learning how to actually play, than it would just become annoying. The campaign was okay, too. not what I expected, but fine. Really it's all the little things that made it a bit of a letdown for me...and to illustrate my point, a picture!

Honestly though, the whole reason it was so disappointing to me was because I couldn't play with all of my Steam friends, who all unfortunately live in the UK. Honestly, without the ability to play with friends, this game just got old, fast. If this problem occurs in Diablo 3, well I'll still get it, but I will be even more pissed!
Really? I tried that when the game first launched (as did they) and we couldn't add each other to our friends' lists. They patched it in? And sad to say, it doesn't matter too much, now, as most of us have moved on from it already.Reyalsfeihc said:All you do is add them on your friends list and create a party? That pic is completely out dated.Grey_Focks said:http://chzbobshouseofvideogames.files.wordpress.com/2010/07/starcraft-e1280514792591.png?w=500&h=620M
Yes, If you tell the custom support they usually let you swtich server. Blizzard is talking about how to really support cross regien now.Reyalsfeihc said:All you do is add them on your friends list and create a party? SC2 supports cross region, it's just a little harder to work around.
ah, well as I said to the first person to quote me, I really haven't played it in a while, but for the first few weeks after it came out, all those problems were still very true, and as such the game just died for me. Adding them in this late really isn't going to make a difference, to me atleast. They should have shipped with cross legion or LAN, or at least patched them in within the first week. This long after launch, and it's just too little too late.Exort said:That pic is completely out dated.
Chat room is going to be added next patch, which is already live on the test servers. Blizzard is working on Multiplayer replay. and I don't even know why you would put Tournament support on Starcraft: Broodwar.
It bacisly LAN and Cross regien.
It wasn't Mr. Funk who dropped the hammer on you. If you can't be civil in general, then your time here will be limited.chopperman said:seriously? you took offense at this? that was my mildest word I could have used many others. I'm sorry you don't agree that WoW shouldn't be in 2010 games because it wasn't made in 2010 but this is just sad.
Gyromancer was horrible.chessmasterhex said:Gryromancer snubbed AGAIN??!?!?
Cataclysm came out this month. It counts. Also, as Paulgruberman said, play nice and be civil or don't come here.chopperman said:why is it no matter what year it is one of you have to put WoW in your top picks. IT WASN'T MADE IN 2010 RETARD. its like 5 years old stop putting games that didn't come out this year in your top picks for this year. Last year one of you put it in just because it had a patch! wtf people. Can you please at least play by your own rules and stick to picking games that where really made in 2010? a add on isn't a new game its shockingly just a expansion.
sadly I know this won't stop you from putting this same game in next years top picks you freaking wow addict
