Why can't he dress up as a character I don't like for once? Can no one put on a Hello Kitty mask before they colombine the whole place up?
oh gosh, a Hello Kitty mask would create added psychological damage to the survivors of that attack!

well, what do you expect from a guy named Clancy? Guys named Clancy had terrible childhoods and have always done everything half assed.

Nah, man. That's not Batman, that's some loon in a Batman suit. While everyone was looking at that guy, Batman snuck in the other side of the building. Twice.

He purchased the jerry cans over a five-week period and hid them in the bushes near the school. He bought 100 litres of petrol from a nearby petrol station.

The Independent
I cracked up when I read this. Who the hell was stupid enough to sell a teenager 100 litres of petrol?

Why the Joker anyway?
A hoody and mask would have been grand, obvious attention seeking.
Ditch the hoody, get a wig and some music.

*applauds*

I'm all for Joker anarchic-style mayhem every now and then. I say bring it on!

In all seriousness, the guy wasn't too smart, but the story is actually kind of cool.

If I ever snap, god forbid, and decide to light somewhere on fire, I will at least have the decency to get rid of all evidence that suggests I've been near comics and games before doing it. I especially wouldn't dress up like a character from one, otherwise you may as well just blatantly say "they made me do it"
I would dress as a Fox News Spokesman with a huge sign "I HATE VIDEO GAMES" in my back

As the Batman would say...wait, I think even he doesn't know what to say to this stupidity.

As Alfred so wisely put it(as he always does), the Joker just wants to watch the world burn. This guy set his sights too small.

So, we've had Bank Robber Vader, evidently before that but only recently reported was Arsonist Nakama Joker... any bets on who the next pop culture villain will be to be reported on commiting a crime? I'm personally voting for Jaywalking Hannibal Lecter.

God look at the photo on the link, what a smarmy emo moron. I wonder if he writes bad poetry about his feelings too..

On a related note, you usually have to act like a complete sociopath on a regular basis for teachers to start treating you differently to everyone else. I wonder who the real hypocrites are? His teachers, who treated his friends as sub-human, or his friends, who (almost certainly) treated the teachers as sub-human.

Clancy's arson reportedly caused more than $1 million in damages, which is a pretty lame act when it comes to Joker standards. If the Joker was mad at the way a school treated his "friends," he would have just blown up the entire school while everyone was in it, including his friends. This was obviously an attempt to get attention or just misguided teenage anger. Totally lame Clancy, totally lame.
Who's betting he reads this, and then goes and does it right?
