Does anyone know how to limit the amount of memory that Firefox takes up?
No, better question why would you want to limit it's massive use of 101K in a world where 2gig is commonplace?

How I miss the old days.

I have a HP Pavillion a1700n Tower for my compy, with stock Power Supply, and I'm wondering what would be an ideal improvement to support a nVidia GeForce 8800 GTX.
A miracle??? Since the a1700 appears to have several variants some of which will take a 8800GTX and some won't.

More info please.

What the hell is a woodchuck?
Why a man who chucks wood.

Does anyone know where to find Jeans that have a long length but a slim waste, all of the UK's clothing shops seem to cater to fat/short people.

[HEADING=2]Does anyone want to make a game?[/HEADING]

I'm serious here.
I'm dicking around making things on a 3D program, and have a lack of things to be making. I've just finished creating a 3D model for a river I had to survey as part of an essay, so was wondering if anybody knows programming, how hard would it be to make a basic game?
I know a bit of programming, but not yet any game-related programming (engine, 3d-programming, ...) That's what the upcoming 3 years of college are for

Does anyone else want to see some B A pokemon with high powered weapons and shit?

Would Yahtzee mind if a friend of mine put him as a character in a game he's programming?

Is the cake a lie?

Why in god's name is this day and age would a girl not shave her happy-no-no-place?

Seriously though, I brought a girl home the other night and when I stripped her down she had a straight up 70's bush.

Yes, of course I still banged her (I'm a real man), but I hated myself for it.

Then I kicked her out in the morning.

good times.

Its been months and the cause is noble ... sure what the heck.

PHOENIX DOWN!!!

At what rate does fire consume oxygen in a closed environment? May seem very random but the answer is important to me.

Why did our advice threads have to die? *sniffle*
Because all the answers were 'talk to her' or 'have confidence'.
My question: Why do people keep on trying to start RPs at the first sign of an MGG post? It's not a battle if he doesn't retaliate, and it's less and less funny every time, as well as increasingly rude, so why do it?
What do these letters mean?
RP stands for "role play." Its a game in which players create and adopt characters who must cooperate to accomplish a shared goal in a shared universe. MGG=REVIEWS's is/was a reviewer on this site with little respect for appropriate English and a very trollish demeanor. He got better but at the time he was considered a troll.

Larenxis is making an allusion to the time one of MGG-REVIEWS's reviews descended into an RP in which the players adopted vageuly midieval fantasy characters and proceeded to attempt to "kill the troll", the troll in this case being played by MGG. The troll fought through sheer buligerance and a complete disregard for spelling and grammer, he was fought with everything from swords to magical summonings of william shakespear. Much fun was had by all.

I repeat my question: at what rate does fire consume oxygen in an enclosed space? In the ball park would be fine but I really need to know.

Is it a good idea to use my crappy, bottom-range PC as a basis for building something much better?Or should I cough up for all th new components?
I'd like to be able to play games like HL2 for the time being.

Can someone offer reliable proof that cracking knuckles leads to arthritis?
It doesn't cause arthritis but it CAN lead to a really weakened grip.
You're basing this on... what? I'd honestly like to know.
Um... there's like 15 different types of arthritis. The biggest difference in them is that they are caused by different things. For example my mother has Rheumatoid arthritis it is caused by the immune system attacking your own cells and like most forms of Arthritis it's biggest cause is genetics.

question. Why does everyone think I'm a djinni?

Why do the mods lock our threads when there is not only a complete lack of flaming, but lack of any offensive material at all?

And why do we get put on suspension/probation for reasons we can almost unanimously agree are retarded?

I thought that cracking your knuckles is air bubbles moving in your joint fluid. I didn't think you were dislodging anything. With respect, where did you hear that?
To be honest, I can't quite remember. I can't even remember knowing that little false-fact. I think if I were to have heard it from somewhere it would be from a friend telling me. I doubt that you still visit this forum so I suppose it doesn't matter now.

Spinwhiz said:
Cracking knuckles is actually a minor gas releasing from between 2 section of bone within the joint, thus making a popping sound when released.
Thank you Spinwhiz, sorry about not replying all that time ago. I must have missed your post.

My God though, haven't times changed? Threads and posts were just plain different a year ago, so was I. My posts are generally worse back then and piss me off whenever I see them. I have a feeling that this too will come back to haunt me, but whatever.

What the heck is gurana?
It's a fruit native to Brazil. Contains quite a lot of caffeine.

Why does sesquipedalianism occasionally provoke vehement outbursts?
