A chit-chat thread? I like the idea, why aren't there more of these.

Well, where I live (Sonoma/Napa county, CA, USA), we're experiencing an incredibly out of the ordinary winter in the way that we never really had one. We're used to very cold, windy, wet winters, and it rained maybe twice this winter and it didn't get too cold. It's going to be interesting to see how this effects the vineyards--I live in one of the best wine producing areas in the Western hemisphere. The lack of rain here also ment the lack of snow up in Tahoe, which REALLY sucked. They got acouple inches where they're used to feet. Now we're moving into spring and the rain's kind of picking up.

Wheather normally doesn't phase me, but when it's this off it's alittle worrying. I also only went snowboarding once this year.

It's technically supposed to be the arrival of spring, where I am. Times of warmer air, clearer skies, the trees and flowers in bloom!

NOPE. Suddenly, temperatures drop 30 degrees, and we get blanketed with snow. It would have been nice to have this stuff during, you know, WINTER. This state is pretty much always behind when it comes to delivering on seasonal weather.

I live on the coastline in South Carolina. It's humid, getting hotter every day, and pollen is miserable. I also have a job that requires long black pants, button up shirts and bow-tie. It's awful. I like the cold. I like hoodies and jeans or even khakis.
