Just experienced an attempted mugging

Don't worry about the attempt though if muggings are common around your area then you may want to warn some people.

That's happened to me before, and he tried to get the police officer who was seeing the whole thing play out to arrest me.

Definitely call the police, having an incident report is always beneficial, and it helps them track down these guys.

Hope you're alright- I'm puzzled that you're telling us on the internet about this and not the police.
Even if they don't run into him, then giving a description, time and place can at least give them something to look out for.

Also- warn your friends about this arsehole.

I don't know what else to say, really. It really depends on what the police are like in your area.. wherever that is!

I'd say the best thing is to call round to your friends or family if you're not too keen on going to the Cop Shop about it.

Definitely worth mentioning it to the feds. If you don't report it, the longer he'll go undetected. The UK is the most watched country in the world, if he mugged somebody else the same day they can atleast look at tracking his movements.

I'd call the police and fill out a report. While they prob can't do much atleast they'll known that there's some guy going around trying to mug people in the area. Also, if you can give a description then you are golden.
