ToR? You can't go wrong with Bioware (unless you pick up Jade Empire).

Can't really argue with that, gardening is a fairly pleasant thing to do if you have the means.
TOR comes out a year from now, no matter how much I agree with you.

LotRO just became free-to-play so you could give that a whirl, I've heard good things about it.
Free eh? ... Hmm... NO! YOU ARE ZE WOLF IN SHEEPSKIN. I DENOUNCE THE SATAN TRYING TO LURE MY BACK TO MMOs...

>.>

<.<

I might go have a look at that.
Am I that obvious? I thought the sheepskin was pretty convincing.

Stupid sheep, blowing my cover.

Well, TF2 was already suggested. I found RE4 take up A LOT of time for me when it was first released... Counter Strike Source is a possibility too, especially with a huge update supposedly coming up, but it has significantly less variety than TF2.

I haven't played them but the Mass Effect games and Dragon Age: Origins might be possibilities.
Or maybe tracking down and playing the Metroid series if you've never played them before.

And I am terribly bored. Someone suggest something to occupy my time please?

If you're going to suggest playing another game or watching a film or reading a book, please have some suggestions/recommendations :D

EDIT: Have already played/killed Oblivion and Fallout 3 but thanks for the suggestions :D
Look up Xenimus online, its an oldschool hard core mmorpg with alot of pvp, its been around for 10 years being developed but retained a classic look and feel that i havnt found in any other mmorpg ever, it might be something you will love or hate. Its also free to play but has a really small community most of the time. I made my own short gameplay video a few days ago.

Find some sites that have a lot of good videos to watch, that kills time fast. Some suggestions:

LoadingReadyRun.com
Thatguywiththeglasses.com (Nostalgia Critic, Linkara and SpoonyOne mainly)

There's tons of videos on both sites to go through if you haven't already.

Get all of Terry Pratchett's work and read it in one session. Can't be much longer than an average raid I guess...

I've been thinking about WoW alot today. I don't like the game, but I have alot of good memories and I did alot of wild and crazy things in that game. I also was able to make some very real impact upon communities through my actions, especially during my last year of playing where I took my typical relentless character and put it into the server economy. I'd be lying to myself to say that I didn't miss those moments, but I also know at the same time that the game itself is kinda junky and the only thing i'd truly enjoy is a return to a community that allowed me to learn and experience alot of things that have served me well ever since.

Oh, and dominating a server's economy is always fun.

So... someone stop me before I consider going back to that bad, and yet so compelling game. Fallout 3 just isnt enough. >_<

Go outside, and start running. Don't stop until you really, really, REALLY need to catch your breath. Then look around and see where you are, and go from there.

It never fails.

Congratz, now resist any temptation to play the game again, they shall tempt you with a free trial for your main char.

Anyway since you are free, you ought to try and do an acitivity outside gaming, like painting, music, reading or anything you like really.

As for game recommendations:

Morrowind
Dragon Age
Fable

Also dont forget to harness your soul back from WoW.
Got it... Resist the devil... Take back what's mine.

Farmville

*duck*

What? I heard it surpasses WoW in time-wasting and soul-sucking.

This coming from a current WoW player.

I dunno... start a jogging club?

Also, no such thing as "quitting" WoW, you'll be back. Sooner or later... they all come back.

If you really want to be productive in understanding a good game for you, then you need to do a bit of soul searching an come to a better understanding of what kind of games you really enjoy. In order to expand your experience on different game types, try out some other types of games, see if you like them.
