Did you grind the main quest or do a lot of side missions as well? I have almost 40 hours of gameplay on my file and haven't beaten it yet. Not even close, as far as I can tell. But I do every side task I find and delve deep into the dialogue and all of the characters side plots. I'm a sucker for story and immersion.
Oh. Nope, just did the story. I'm a sucker for story too, but that's just main story. I usually ignore sidequests in games (unless there's an achievement or decent reward for it)

Only an MMO addict thinks DA:O is a short game. That's the most insidious aspect of the genre, really.
I haven't touched an MMO in about a year dude.

Hit up the town and get some women!

Alternatively, Rome Total War. Mastering multiplayer will probably take a fair bit.

ToR? You can't go wrong with Bioware (unless you pick up Jade Empire).

Can't really argue with that, gardening is a fairly pleasant thing to do if you have the means.
TOR comes out a year from now, no matter how much I agree with you.

LotRO just became free-to-play so you could give that a whirl, I've heard good things about it.

Lord of the Rings Online is becoming Free to Play... And it's an awesome game.
STOP IT DEMONS! I was trying to get away from the MMO scene.
You can't escape...return to ussssssss

You could try the Warcraft RTS.
Or get a steam account and spend what you would have in subscriptions for three months to start.
See you in a...hmmm...approximately $45...factor in a steam sale...add in a bundle...carry the two...assuming you get something like TF2...never mind, you're not coming back.
I've recently been playing the game Altitude on steam and sunk in 11+ hours in only about two weeks.
If you have Vista or 7, Shattered Horizon is free to play this weekend.
Steam sales/deals-making you hate and love it at the same time.

World of Warcraft

Another MMO perhaps? There are a few good ones beside WoW.
Yeah but I'm trying to get away from the whole subscription based gaming and MMOs as a whole for a while.
Play 'Runes of Magic'. It's a better version of WoW but it's free to play.

Put the money you would have put into WOW into an online poker account on Pokerstars or Full Tilt. Don't ever deposit more money than you would have spent on your WOW subscription. Maybe buy one of Dan Harrington's poker books as well to learn how to really play, or start reading online forums (there are several excellent ones). Build up your experience playing very small stakes tournaments or cash games, depending on which you prefer. If you manage your account well and work on improving, then I promise you that with the same amount of time you were spending on WOW you can build up a self-perpetuating bankroll within a few months.

And continue with your regular exercise.

And I am terribly bored. Someone suggest something to occupy my time please?

If you're going to suggest playing another game or watching a film or reading a book, please have some suggestions/recommendations :D

EDIT: Have already played/killed Oblivion and Fallout 3 but thanks for the suggestions :D

EDIT: Although I played WoW I am still physically active. I go running, take the dog out, go to the Gym with my friends. No need to tell me to go running guys! Haha.
Quiting wow...no such thing...you quit a character... there are other servers...and in all honestly..if wow isnt terrible..like gameplay aspect wise..find a guild of people you like with a vent..i tell ya..ive met some awsome people that way. people that [obviously] liked video games also and would pretty much play any multiplay....lets face it...if you find a group of 2+ people..include you..you can have alot of fun. i met 1 guy..mabie 3 years ago on wow..and even if were not playing wow...were making fun of thers...playin SC2/TF2/Dragon age [helping each other on parts and laughing when the other dies] and really anything...and then we went back to wow ...started from scrach..and went all the way to the top again... everything easier when you can ninja things becuase half the group is your friends :)

1. Take a shower.
2. Eat.
3. Laundry.
4. Wash the dishes.
5. Replenish food supplies.
6. Clean the house, fumigate pests as needed, and Dow cleaning bubbles with a scouring pad work great on bathroom grime.
7. Pay your phone bill, renew your auto insurance, and take care of other... um, delayed... financial obligations.
8. Call or email what real life friends you can remember.
9. Go to YouTube and watch videos of other people playing WoW or doing whatever in the game.
10. Renew your subscription.

If you like RPGs I'd recommend Torchlight. It's an incredible game, especially considering that it's 20$.

ModNation Racers. Don't have a PS3? Try the Sims 3 out! Hypothetically, Sims 3 is an infinitely long running game.
He's right about ModNation. The only game that has been put into my PS3 since the 26th. It's a little challenging at the end of career and the story is laughably bad, it's still amazing. You can make a fully functioning track in a minute. This isn't exaggeration.
There's loads of character created stuff, and infinitely more to come.
My Mod is Deadpool, and he drives the Mystery Machine. Try and top that. =)
Or get Steam like I said earlier.
Seriously, Steam. NOW!!!! (if you don't have a PS3)

Go to goodoldgames.com, catch up on the classic yet affordable games is my recommendation :p

If you got a bit more money to spare, then rather then listen to random strangers imposing their tastes in games on you, look around yourself on gaming sites if you really need ideas, or just browing various online game catalogues.

There are plenty of awesome game and gems hidden away out there, and only you can know your own tastes.

Edit: OP beware of what some are saying here, especially regarding steam sales ¬¬ You can usually find cheaper deals elsewhere if you know where to look (sure there's the occasional really good steam sale, but you can find such things elsewhere too if you cared to explore), don't be one of the sheep, explore ALL your options.

So... someone stop me before I consider going back to that bad, and yet so compelling game. Fallout 3 just isnt enough. >_<
I'd gladly help you if you are really willing to renouce your heretic ways :p Read what i said above ^

It genuinely saddens me that so many of my fellow gamers limit their gaming lives to be dominated by 1 game/genre/dev (especially mmos ><)or seem to only play the famous games.
So many gems and awesome experiences you prohibit yourselves from ever knowing....

I'd gladly shoot off some of the games I personally enjoy inbetween the cheap snacks i get from deals and cheap sites (when a game costs as much as a tube/metro ticket, you can afford to be experimental) but it would undermine my point, and while it might suit my tastes, it could offend yours.

Congratulations on letting go of wow. Its been 2 years for me now. (appart from a quick month checking out Wrath of the Linch king)
Its hard to suggest games as peoples tastes differ so much.
Some games i love are L4D and L4D2. (I love that teams rely on each other so much)

Have a look into the indie game scene, there are hundreds of cheap and fantastic games out there to suck the hours away. ("Altitude" is my latest favourite)

Read books, again this very much depends on taste.
The Road, Kitchen Confidential, The hitch hikers guide are some of my favs

Movies, http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.196668-Movies-i-have-to-see
The escapist has something for every taste

Well enjoy life without WoW
