I believe this man has won himself some Internet Cred, along with some more Gamer Cred. I hope Infinite turns out amazing, not only so that I can play an awesome game, but also so that the industry may consider this man's approach to gimmicks as advantageous.

Good to see he'd rather focus on his game than trying to incorporate gimmicks.
Another reason to love this man :)

Oddly enough, it reminds me more od Black & White, with mouse drawn spells.
See now, THAT is a way I think the Move could be used well.
I vaguely remember the seals from one of the DS Castlevania games. That was part gimmick, part good.

I like that they're not adding unnecessary things that make no sense, I mean Bioshock tries to be immersive and at least in my opinion, it was (only played Bioshock so I cant judge the second) and immersion is destroyed when I have to randomly wave my arm around to open a door or something.

Ken Lenvie: you have something so many in your line fo work lack. something very key in life, politics, culture, society, music and games.

You got Balls, sir.

Although curiously, absolutely no reference to Microsoft's NATAL was said.

If those lackofseXBOX owners get motion control, it is clear the Levine has balls but no spine.

Good luck.

As far as I am concerned, motion controls can feel free to stay out of as many games as they'd like. I'm worried for the "future" of gaming if this is where it's headed. I'm not close-minded to new ideas, but to me, some games just were never meant for motion controls.

Let's let motion controlled games stick with bobbly-headed avatars, tennis, racing cows, and river rafts. They do great there.

Side note: Is the Move getting ANY games? Because right now I'm pretty glad I didn't splurge and get one, it's been damn stagnant.

So long as he and his team provide a great experience like they did with Bioshock, they can do whateverthefuck they see fit to make the game excel expectations.

I usually support taking risks with games but this is one I personally wouldn't take myself, motion control things are still a bit too young (outside of the Wii, but this isn't for the Wii).

It's Sony's own fault for fragmenting their market between Dual Shock and the Move. Adding Move support for the sake of adding Move support would take away from Bioshock. He is completely right. Motion controls should serve to add variety and promote innovation rather than force developers to pigeonhole themselves into creating experiences that do not correlate well with their vision. Leaving the controller choice to the player would mean creating a separate control system that would seem rather watered down and probably would not be worth the extra development time.
